Who We Are
Lancashire Fabrications Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a steel fabrication and installation company registered in England. Our workshop is at Units B5 & B6, Abbey Lane Industrial Estate, Abbey Lane, Burscough, L40 7SR. We're the data controller for the personal information collected through this website.
What We Collect and Why
When you send us an enquiry through our quote form, we collect your name, company name (if given), email address, phone number, details of your project, and any files you attach (such as drawings or specifications). We use this information for one purpose: to review your requirements and respond to your enquiry with a quote or a call back.
The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you've chosen to send us, and taking steps to enter into a contract with you where you go ahead.
How Your Enquiry Is Handled
Form submissions are delivered to our email inbox using Resend, an email delivery service. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard technical data (such as IP addresses) to serve the site securely. We don't sell your information or share it with anyone else for marketing.
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any project that follows, and for our normal business record-keeping after that.
Cookies and Analytics
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. If we use analytics, we use a privacy-focused service that collects anonymous, aggregated statistics without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
The map on our contact page is embedded from Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when the map loads. See Google's privacy policy for how they handle data.
Your Rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability.
